Ringtones aren’t really hard to come by these, and they are easier than ever to get. With nearly everyone having a cell phone these days, the need for quality ringtones has never been higher. There are so many providers of cell phones out there today that we often forget that all of these providers also provide their very own ringtones as well. In fact, anyone that sells a cell phone will also have ringtones available. However, many of them charge way too much money and those that they offer for free area usually outdated. That is why I have put together some tips on how to get the best ringtones with the least amount of hassle.

1. Company’s should offer both free and paid ringtones, if they don’t, u will likely just be wasting a lot of money on very little
2. make sure that they offer you a chance to preview the tones before you download them
3. Always check for reviews on different ringtone suppliers. The best people to tell you about a company are consumers like you not the company reps.
4. Be careful of companies that offer too much for nothing. They are likely going to prove to be a problem sooner or later
5. Comparison shop online for your ringtones, u may get a better deal somewhere else
6. Make sure that paid ringtone providers offer secure ordering through Verisign or pay pal…never give out your bank account information online
7. If a ringtone provider offers you the chance to use your cell phone to get your ringtone, make sure that they charge the phone directly; especially if it’s a pay as you go
8. Be sure to read privacy statements before you add your information
9. Be wary of ringtone companies that insist upon paid registration without real demos and site tours.
10. Never get your ringtone form a company that isn’t upfront about every fee they charge, and read the FAQ’s before signing up.
